NEW LOOK Spellbinder _ Magnetic Spacer Plate.....has now been combined with the spacer plate.. to make it more sturdy... The older style magnetic mat is no longer available.. But my brand is like the old style mat..
 It is designed to position the cutting and embossing dies and Nestabilities, as well as hold the dies in position.This allows for more even cuts.
